In this lesson you will view Ashley Gilbertson’s photographs from his show ―”The Shrine Down the Hall”, which documents the untouched bedrooms of the men and women who have died while serving in Iraq. Students will respond to these images both individually and as a group in a discussion. Each student will then photograph their own bedrooms in a way that will document something about the student.
